Everyone.net is pleased to announce the availability of our Business Calendar beta. The calendar is an option for all Business Mail customers to help your organization work together more effectively and efficiently.
The new calendar allows users to:
- Stay organized by planning daily, weekly, and monthly activities
- Keep track of appointments that recur on a regular basis (i.e., weekly, monthly)
- Send and receive meeting announcements from Web Mail and standards-based email clients (i.e., iCal, Outlook)
- Access your calendar anytime, from anywhere

Turning on (or off) Business Calendar
Business Calendar is turned off at the Control Center by default. This must be turned on in order for your end users to enjoy the benefits of having Business Calendar.
Log into your Control Center
http://controlcenter.everyone.net/
Select Manage Services
Select Calendar
Select the radio menu ON
Save your changes
(Optional) Turning Off Business Calendar
Log into your Control Center
http://controlcenter.everyone.net/
Select Manage Services
Select Calendar
Select the radio menu OFF
Save your changes
Technical Requirements
The following are the supported browser and operating system combinations. Please ensure your browser’s JavaScript is fully enabled and cookies are accepted. We recommend a minimum Internet connection of 56K.

Access Business Calendar
Log into your Web Mail account
Click on the Calendar BETA
Your Business Calendar will always open on the present date.

View Dates
Use Back/Forward Arrows
Select on the left arrow to navigate past dates
Select on the right arrow to navigate future dates

Use View Date
To select a specific date
Select View Date menu located at the upper right hand side of the Business Calendar view page
A small calendar Date Picker will be displayed
Single click to select the date
To select Today
Select View Date menu located at the upper right hand side of the Business Calendar view page
A small calendar Date Picker will be displayed
Single click Today at the bottom of the small calendar Date Picker

Calendar Layouts
By Day
Select Day menu located at the upper right hand side of the Business Calendar page
The Business Calendar will then show the date selected
By Week
Select Week menu located at the upper right hand side of the Business Calendar page
The Business Calendar will show the selected date’s week
A week consists of Sunday – Saturday
By Month
Select Month menu located at the upper right hand side of the Business Calendar page
The Business Calendar view will show the selected date’s month
This displays events for one month
Add, Delete, or Edit Events in Business Calendar
Actions
Using the actions feature will allow you to create new, edit, or delete entries
Click on the Actions menu located at the upper right hand side of the Business Calendar view page to view your choices

Create a New entry as an Event Organizer
Using Actions menu
Click on the Actions menu located at the upper right hand side of the Business Calendar page
An Event Editor will open in a new browser window
Using Time/Date blocks
Double click on the desired time/date
An Event Editor will open in a new browser window, populated with the selected date and time
Edit an entry as an Event Organizer
Delete an entry as an Event Organizer
Using Actions menu
Select the event from your Business Calendar
Click Delete from the Actions menu located at the upper right hand side of the Business Calendar page
If you have no attendees/or no acceptances, a box will appear prompting you to accept or decline the deletion
Select Yes
If you have attendees which have accepted, a box will appear prompting you to accept or decline notifying the attendees that you are canceling the event
Select Yes
The event will be removed from you calendar
By event
Double click on the event
The Event Editor will open in a new browser window
In the Event Editor select Delete
If you have no attendees/or no acceptances, a box will appear prompting you to accept or decline the deletion
Select Yes
If you have attendees which have accepted, a box will appear prompting you to accept or decline notifying the attendees that you are canceling the event
Select Yes
The event will be removed from your calendar
Edit an entry as an Event Attendee
Delete an entry as an Event Attendee
Using Actions menu
Select the event from your Business Calendar
Choose Cancel from the Actions menu located at the upper right hand side of the Business Calendar page
A box will appear prompting you to accept or decline the deletion
Select Yes
The event will be removed from your calendar
By event
Double click on the event
The Event Editor will open in a new browser window
In the Event Editor select Delete
The event will be removed from your calendar
Event Editor
The Event Editor is the interface that allows you to manage your calendar events.
Appointment Tab
When Creating an Event:
Subject
Enter the subject for the event
Location
Enter the location for the event
Start Time
End Time
Enter the Date
Manually enter the date using the supported format this must be same as or after the start date
Or
Select the date from the small calendar Date Picker
Enter the Time
Manually enter the date using the supported format this must be after the start date and time
Or
Select the time from the menu
All Day Event
All day events are listed at the top of each day when appropriate.
Also, events that span multiple days are repeated on each day they span.
Select this option if this is an event which is to take place all day
Check the box next to "All day event"
You will notice the time and day will disappear
Show Time Zones
Click on the time zone icon 
Select the time zone from the menu for one or both selections
Recurrence
To create a recurring event
Click on Add Recurrence
You will be presented with several options
Daily Recurrence
Select the Daily option
You will be presented with two options
If Every _ Days, enter the number of day(s)
If every weekday, select the radio menu next to Every weekday
Select the end date
If there is no end date, select No end date
If there are a limited number of occurrence(s), select End after # occurrence(s) and enter the number into the box
If the occurrence is to end by a certain date, select End by and enter a date manually using the supported format or select one form the small calendar Date Picker
Weekly Recurrence
Select Weekly
Enter the number of week(s) in the box
Select the days
Select the end date
If there is no end date, select No end date
If there are a limited number of occurrence(s) select End after # occurrence(s) and enter the number into the box
If the occurrence is to end by a certain date, select End by and enter a date manually using the supported format or select one form the small calendar Date Picker.
Monthly
Select Monthly
Select the number of days and number of months by entering the number into the appropriate box
Or
Select a specific timeframe from the menus for the number of month(s)
Select the end date
If there is no end date, select No end date
If there are a limited number of occurrence(s), select End after # occurrence(s) and enter the number into the box
If the occurrence is to end by a certain date, select End by and enter a date manually using the supported format or select one form the small calendar Date Picker
Yearly
Select Yearly
Select the month from the menu and manually enter the date
Or
Select a specific timeframe from the menus
Select the end date
If there is no end date, select No end date
If there are a limited number of occurrence(s), select End after # occurrence(s) and enter the number into the box
If the occurrence is to end by a certain date, select End by and enter a date manually using the supported format or select one form the small calendar Date Picker
To remove recurrence
Click on Remove Recurrence
Reminder
Using the menu select a time
Enter the email address
A reminder will be sent to the email address entered
Attendees Tab

Create an Event
Launch the Event Editor
Enter the information for your event. Please keep in mind that the event details will be displayed for your attendees when they receive their invitation.
Select Save & Close
A box will be displayed prompting you to send invitations to all attendees
Select Yes to send invitations
Or
Select No to not send invitations
Or
Select Cancel to return to the previous window
Your event has now been created and will appear in your calendar
Cancel/Close out of Event Editor
While in the Event Editor select Cancel
View an Event
Highlight any event and double click on it to open
Event Invitation
An invitation will arrive in your Inbox
Click on the invitation to open
If using Web Mail, select Open Invitation

To Accept in Web Mail
Select Accept to accept the invitation, this will create the event reminder in your calendar
You will be prompted to notify the organizer
Select Yes to notify the organizer, your status will show as accepted for the event
Or
Select No to not notify the organizer, your status will show as No Response for this event
Or
Select Cancel to return to the previous screen
To Accept using an email client
Open the invitation email from within your email client
Select the Accept option
The event will now appear in your calendar
** For further instructions please contact your email client’s support
To accept Tentatively in Web Mail
Select Tentative to accept the invitation tentatively, this will create the event reminder in your calendar
You will be prompted to notify the organizer
Select Yes to notify the organizer, your status will show as accepted for the event
Or
Select No to not notify the organizer, your status will show as No Response for this event
Or
Select Cancel to return to the previous screen
To accept Tentatively using an email client
Open the invitation email from within your email client
Select the Tentative option
The event will now appear in your calendar

To Decline in Web Mail
Select Decline to decline the invitation
You will be prompted to notify the organizer
Select Yes to notify the organizer, your status will show as Accepted for the event
Or
Select No to not notify the organizer, your status will show as No Response for this event
Or
Select Cancel to return to the previous screen
To Decline using an email client
Open the invitation email from within your email client
Select the Decline option
