Frequently Asked Questions
If you have a question that is not answered here, don't hesitate to
contact us. As always, please include your
Client ID (e.g. c12345) with your message.
Do I, the Everyone.net client, have to pay to offer Mail Plus Total
Protection and related premium upgrades to my end-users?
Absolutely not. Mail Plus Total Protection pays you! Mail Plus
Total Protection is an upgrade option for your end-users. Your users
can choose to upgrade to Mail Plus Total Protection for $24.95 a year,
or additional storage starting at $25 a year. Each time they sign
up for Mail Plus Total Protection, you earn $10! Any user that chooses
not to upgrade may continue to use your ad-supported email service
as usual.
What is a Mail Plus Total Protection member?
A Mail Plus Total Protection member is an end-user that has paid to
upgrade their individual mailbox to Mail Plus Total Protection. When
a user upgrades to Mail Plus Total Protection, we refer to them as
a Mail Plus Total Protection member.
Can I, the client, remove Mail Plus Total Protection members?
Under certain circumstances, such as abuse of the Mail Plus Total
Protection membership, you may remove Mail Plus Total Protection members
by contacting us.
What does "No Ads" mean?
"No Ads" means that a Mail Plus Total Protection member
account is 100% free of all forms of advertising. This includes Everyone.net
ads as well as those of the client. The promotional email signature
(i.e. tagline) is also removed for Mail Plus Total Protection members.
Mail Plus Total Protection members that double-opt-in (confirm an
email subscription twice) may receive email advertisements but only
because they have explicitly confirmed their desire to receive such
promotions.
When will I be paid?
Payment via check will be mailed every 60 days once your revenue share
due to you is $50 or more. In order to be paid, you must complete
the Mail Plus Program application. If you are
subject to U.S. tax laws, you must also complete and submit IRS
Form W-9.
Will I get credit for Mail Plus Total Protection members that signed
up before I update my profile or submit my IRS Form W-9?
Yes. Please be sure to update your profile
and submit your IRS
Form W-9 as soon as possible.
Will I get credit for Mail Plus Total Protection members that had
signed up via the free option?
Yes! You will receive a $10 credit for the new Mail Plus Total
Protection member.
Will I get full credit for Mail Plus Total Protection members that
signed up during Everyone.net's December 2001 Mail Plus Total Protection
Holiday Sale?
Yes! You will receive credit as if the Mail Plus Total Protection
member paid.
Did the revenue share levels change?
Yes. In fact, they changed from a range of 10-30% to a flat $10.
When the program first began, levels were measured by how many Mail
Plus Total Protection members you had. Now we have eliminated the
levels to enable all of our partners to earn over 30% for each Mail
Plus Total Protection signup.
What should I do if a Mail Plus Total Protection member contacts me
for technical support?
Please kindly inform the Mail Plus Total Protection member that
they should contact Everyone.net under "Help" in their Web
Mail account or via the End-User Support
Request web form. Mail Plus Total Protection, and Extra Storage
members receive free technical support from Everyone.net as part of
their membership.
What should I, the client, do if I need technical support?
Please use the Client Support
Request web form to ensure a timely response.
How does a Mail Plus Total Protection member request a refund?
Mail Plus Total Protection has a 14-day refund policy. This policy
is clearly stated in the membership agreement and at the time of purchase.
Can a paying end-user (e.g. a Mail Plus Total Protection member)
revert back to being a regular end-user?
Yes. A paying end-user that reverts back to being a regular end-user
will not receive a refund (after their first 14-days).
What happens to my paying end-users if I discontinue my email service?
They will lose their service and you will forfeit any payments due
to you. Please read the terms of the Client
Service Agreement for more information about discontinuing an
Everyone.net service. We hope that you will contact
us before you make such a decision.
